Manuscript Withdrawal Policy

Authors may request withdrawal before acceptance by emailing staff@jurnalkesmas.co.id with the manuscript ID, title, corresponding author, reason for the request, and confirmation from all authors.

Before Acceptance

Jurnal Lentera Kesehatan Masyarakat (JLKM) does not charge a manuscript-withdrawal fee before acceptance. The editorial office will acknowledge and record the request. Authors should not submit the manuscript elsewhere until written confirmation of withdrawal is received.

After Acceptance

A request made after formal acceptance will be assessed promptly in light of production status, publication ethics, and the interests of the scholarly record. No undisclosed withdrawal penalty will be imposed. Any article processing charge already invoiced or paid is handled according to the journal's publicly disclosed Article Processing Charge policy and applicable payment terms.

After Publication

A published article cannot be withdrawn as if it had never been published. Concerns are handled through a correction, expression of concern, retraction, or exceptional removal under the journal's Correction and Retraction policy.

Research Integrity

Good-faith withdrawal requests, including those based on error, ethics, authorship, or duplicate-submission concerns, will be handled fairly. Suspected deceptive conduct may be reviewed under the Publication Ethics policy, with notice and an opportunity to respond. JLKM does not apply automatic or undisclosed blacklisting.
