Jurnal Lentera Kesehatan Masyarakat (JLKM) provides full open access to all its published content, ensuring that the scientific community and the general public can access articles freely, immediately, and without restrictions as soon as they are available online. This open access model means that JLKM does not generate revenue from subscription fees, printed copies, or pay-per-view services.

To support the editorial and production workflow, JLKM requires an Article Processing Charge (APC), which is typically covered by the author’s institution or research funder. The APC is USD 32.25 or IDR 500,000, covering the costs associated with peer review management, editorial processing, and publication.

Manuscript submission to JLKM is free of charge. The APC is only applicable once the article has successfully passed peer review and has been formally accepted for publication by the editor.

Please note that JLKM does not accept direct payments to the journal's bank account. All APC transactions must be processed through a designated third-party partner. Authors will be contacted regarding payment procedures only after the manuscript has been accepted based on the recommendations of at least two reviewers.

Since March 2022, JLKM has not provided APC waivers.
